RESTAURANTS, MONTPELLIER & HÉRAULT

Restaurant photographer
in Montpellier

Dishes, gestures, faces. I photograph and film your restaurant in Montpellier and the Hérault to tell the story of what makes people want to take a seat.

Let’s talk about your project ↗

Your cuisine has a story

A dish tells one part of your restaurant’s story. The work in the kitchen, the welcome, the light in the dining room and the people who bring the place to life complete it. My approach combines food photography, reportage and portraits to create a coherent series.

To plan your images, start with photographs of your menu, then consider the role of the chef’s portrait and the session schedule. These choices bring together the food, the team and the experience at the table.

A new menu, an opening, a change of season or a need to refresh your imagery: together, we choose the scenes that serve your communication, working around the rhythm of service.

From plating to the final glance

I photograph dishes and their details, the chef at work, the team, the dining room and the life of the restaurant. Video can complement the series with moments in the kitchen, an introduction to the place or short formats for social media.

At L’Essentiel, the reportage brings together dishes, plating and a portrait of chef Arnaud Ajax Pignier. The images below reflect this attention to both the food and the people.

Ongoing support through the seasons

To keep your imagery fresh over time, I offer ongoing support from €500 excluding VAT / month : ten three-hour photo sessions spread over the year, including selection, editing and access to your client gallery. A dedicated video session can occasionally replace a photo session, for an additional €350 excluding VAT. Travel expenses are charged separately.

A shoot planned with you

Before the session, we agree on the priority images, the people to photograph, the spaces available and your communication channels. This preparation helps us choose a time that fits the life of your establishment.

The quotation sets out the scope of the shoot, deliverables, schedule and permitted uses. Website, social media, print or advertising campaigns: tell me how you plan to use the images so we can define the rights your project needs.

Images shaped around your channels

We plan the selection around your needs: presenting your menu online, introducing the restaurant on your Google Business Profile, creating social content or showcasing your team. We agree on framing and formats before the shoot.

Let’s plan your shoot

How should we prepare the restaurant for the shoot?

Choose the dishes to photograph and plan their plating with the kitchen. We also identify the tables, details, people and spaces to feature. The programme is planned with you before the session.

Can you photograph without interrupting service?

We look for a time that works with your organisation. Depending on the images required, some shots are prepared outside service hours and others during service. We agree on the arrangements with your team beforehand.

How much does a restaurant photo session cost?

The budget depends on the number of scenes, shooting time, preparation, deliverables and intended uses. Tell me about your establishment, your priorities and your deadline so I can prepare a tailored quotation.

Which files and usage rights are included?

Formats, selection, delivery schedule and usage rights are specified in the quotation. Tell me about your channels and distribution needs from our first conversation, particularly for an advertising campaign.

Can you photograph the chef and the team?

Yes. Portraits and working gestures can form part of the reportage alongside dishes and the dining room atmosphere. Together, we agree on the people to photograph and their availability.
